Our history

An idea born from life's little challenges

Hello and welcome! My name is Janette Rosén and I run Cab-on and sew all our products. I am a mother of two fantastic children myself and it was during the toddler years that my idea of ​​developing a convenient cover or blanket for a stroller was developed.

When my children were small, we spent many hours outside on walks and in nature. Getting out into nature was fantastic, but I also experienced frustration getting a fully clothed child into the stroller along with both a leather seat and a carrycot. It was awkward, hot and cumbersome. Do you recognize yourself?

Our history

Cab-on is developing

As a new mother, I wanted to find a simpler solution – something that would keep my baby warm, without compromising on comfort or taking up extra time. That’s when the idea for Cab-on was born.

Our first product, Cab-on Wind, was developed. It was a simple pull-on cover that was quick, easy and comfortable to use. This product was followed by Cab-on Life, a further developed and improved version based on our own experiences.

But then one day I came into contact with a mother who changed my view and the potential of our products. She ordered covers and blankets from Cab-on to make it easier for her child in a wheelchair to spend time outdoors and participate.

Our history

A greater purpose

We realized that our covers not only simplify everyday life for parents of young children, but can also make a big difference for people with functional variations and their relatives or assistants. This was the starting point for a new direction and development of products, as well as a burning vision that Cab-on should strive to make a difference by simplifying everyday life for everyone.

Today, it feels incredibly rewarding to be able to contribute to more movement, freedom and joy for someone else with the help of our practical and easy-to-use pull-on covers and blankets for both wheelchairs and strollers.
