Environmentally friendly and safe products for wheelchairs and strollers

When I started With Cab-on, I wanted to create more than just smart duvets and covers - I wanted to create environmentally friendly and safe products that feel good both for the body and for the conscience.

We sew quilts and covers that are used by children, young people and adults who, for various reasons, have reduced mobility or sensitivity. The materials must be safe, tested and free of harmful substances .

That's why we sew all our duvets and covers in OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics - so that you as a customer can feel safe, and because we care about both the environment and people.

🧵 What does OEKO-TEX® mean and why is it important?

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an international environmental certification that guarantees that the fabric has been tested for over 300 substances hazardous to health, including: heavy metals, dyes that can cause allergies, pesticide residues, phthalates and other hormone-disrupting chemicals. You can read more about OEKO-TEX on their official website HERE .

An OEKO-TEX certified fabric is kinder to the skin and a better choice for reducing the risk of allergies and the release of harmful substances into nature.

♻️ Made in Sweden in small-scale production

When you order products from Cab-on, you can be sure that you are getting a high-quality handmade product that is also made in Sweden. In other words, our products have a lower CO2 emission compared to products made in, for example, China or the USA, because they are not transported any longer distances from production to customer. The vast majority of our products are sewn by me, Janette, but for larger orders, I collaborate with a sewing studio that offers job training for newcomers. Cab-on is proud to also contribute to social sustainability as part of our production. You can read more about our partner factory Fabrikörerna i Sverige HERE .
